Sparks Fly – Taylor Swift
Yes, I swam in that waterfall. It was a joyous experience and I would suggest adding this to your bucket list if you have never done this!
On a free day I went with some of my good guy friends who were on my trip to the Mountains of Mexico (it was quite a drive from where we were staying, but COMPLETELY worth it!)
We ventured into the Mountains and found a delicious bakery that sold bread and pasteries, they were two for a peso I think. Basically the best bread I have ever had (and I will probably never be able to find it again).
We went hiking out on the mountain and found an old church and well. (By the way, when I say “we found”, what I mean to say is that Jorge showed us. He was a brilliant “tour guide”. He basically knows everything about everything in Mexico and is the children’s pastor at the church we were helping at. He took his whole day to lead us into the mountain’s and be our tour guide.)
He then took us hiking to find the waterfall and we all went swimming for about an hour. After that we took a lunch break and then toured the small towns and villages in the mountains.
On our bus ride to pass the time (we got a little bored, and I think the heat got to us a little) we made up our own tribe. We all had tribal names and animals describing us. We called ourselves the “Ooblas” and we decided we were going to live in the Mountains forever together and never go home.
